I would apologize for all these house/disco mixes if I didn’t love them so much. I don’t know much about the producers for this one other than they’re from Glasgow and they mix some fun music. Perfect for an afternoon stuck at work, at least you can dance in your chair!
okadada - When The Night Falls
In that almost eerie way that only Japan knows how, here we have an album by okadada that treads that delightful mix of hip-hop beats and future funk disco. I don’t have a car nor do I ever plan on owning one, but I would probably bump this while driving around a city at night if that were ever a situation I found myself in. Oh hypotheticals…

One of the stranger and better full-length albums I’ve heard lately. While the album has a lot of typical chipmusic elements in it, they are accompanied by electro rhythms and dream/disco-pop vocals that take a listener through a variety of moods in ~80 minutes.
Listen internet, it’s been a simultaneously exciting and exhausting week. Let’s chill this afternoon to the disco sounds mixed together by The Magician (formerly of Aeroplane fame).
