Bit Shifter - Under The Milky Way (The Church cover)

I’ve been waiting on this one for a while, mostly because I knew there was going to be an excellent recording of it from this show (much thanks to The Chipmusic Chronicle).

Often, a cover in the chipmusic world involves a transposing of the instrumentals of the song into their several-bit counter parts, Bit Shifter achieves so much more than that with this cover of The Church’s “Under The Milky Way”. All of it is still there, but with a completely different energy (think, high speed punk rock). I encourage you to dance along and yell:

“I WISH I KNEW WHAT YOU WERE LOOKING FOR, MIGHT HAVE KNOWN WHAT YOU WOULD FIND.”
