Cheapshot - Streets of Bass

I’ve been enjoying this the last two days, it’s all of the crunchy bass that Cheapshot is well known for with the comfortable listening time of an album. Clocking in at 45 minutes, Streets of Bass adopts the prog-rock (or at least I think it comes from prog-rock) concept of album sections or “Levels” in this album. Serving as a logical separator between sonic styles, each level forms a soundtrack backdrop to either the starting beach, the downtown brawl or the boss’s mansion.

Track you shouldn’t miss: “Barmy”

Bonus PSA: Speaking of Cheapshot, there is a show in Philadelphia which I will regrettably not be able to attend, but Cheapshot, ???, XC3N and others will be playing this Saturday, March 31st. I think this might be Cheapshot’s first US performance?
