Japanese Wallpaper - war peace rocket ships (Bandcamp link)

war peace rocket ships was recorded in various beds across three continents in the first half of 2011. The idea was hatched on a stormy wet day in downtown Jerusalem, where I spent the last few months of 2010. After a sudden bout of inspiration, I set about to gather some things I could use to create music. Armed with several wooden floorboards, an ancient Casio keyboard, a microphone, laptop and a dated copy of Ableton Live, I set out to record. The result is this EP, inspired by war, peace and rocket ships.

Usually I’ll try to have something to say, but if that isn’t a self-described musical journey, I’m not sure what is.
The Decktonic remix is quite excellent, but somewhat out of place with the rest of the EP, like it should belong on a separate side of the release. B-sides on analog medium were excellent to throw in that thing you were experimenting with but weren’t sure went with the flow of the rest of the release, sometimes I miss that, nowadays, it’s all in the tags.
